Famous American singer Chloe Bailey has sparked speculation after subtly criticizing her alleged ex, Burna Boy, on a recent music cover.
The cryptic lyrics, filled with heartbreak and regret, follow reports of the Afrobeats star’s involvement with another woman, to whom he allegedly promised a Lamborghini but failed to deliver.
Chloe performed a soulful rendition of a viral song from 11:11 (Deluxe) in a video shared on her Instagram page, which appeared to address betrayal and wasted time in a relationship.
“Don’t know about them other girls you used to deal with, but I don’t need to buy a man to give me love to lay with, no,” she croaked.
Letting her signature vocals shine, she continued, “You ain’t even worth it; you got me out here looking crazy. I should not have ignored all of the signs. You wasted all of my time, and I know you’re going to miss all of the times we had together.”
Toward the end, she declares that there is “only one Chloe in the world” and that no other woman can compete.
Though the Have Mercy singer has largely kept her dating life private since her first appearance with Burna Boy in December, fans believe the lyrics are a direct jab at the Nigerian superstar.
