Muyiwa Awoniyi, the manager of Grammy-winning Nigerian musician Temilade Openiyi, often known as Tems, has urged youths not to expect too much from the government.
According to him, the government has no plans for its citizens.
“Nigeria has no plans for you,” Awoniyi posted on his X account, creating controversy.
While many people agreed with him, some contended that expecting the government to contribute to nation building was a mistake.
Rema complained in a recent interview that many people had given up on Nigeria due to the myriad issues the country faces.
He advised the youth not to lose faith in the country, emphasizing that nation-building is a shared responsibility between citizens and the government.
Rema committed to continue doing his best to help the country flourish.
