On Sunday, several tornadoes hit Oklahoma, causing significant damage and injuring nearly a dozen people.

At least seven tornadoes were reported, with three categorized as EF3, featuring winds between 136 and 165 mph.

Governor Kevin Stitt announced that over 100 homes were damaged and around 30,000 residents lost power.

An emergency declaration was issued for six counties. By 8 p.m., 16,500 people remained without power.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department reported 11 injuries from a tornado that struck around 1 a.m., with multiple structures either destroyed or damaged.

Thankfully, no fatalities have been reported.
