Fans have come to the streets of Uganda to mourn the death of Liverpool striker Diogo Jota, who died in a horrific automobile accident.

This is stated in a post published on X, formerly known as Twitter, by user @SIKAOFFICIAL1, which depicts a big number of Ugandan fans marching in honor of the late footballer.

The street procession comes after the devastating news of Jota’s death in a car accident in Spain early Thursday morning.

The 28-year-old died alongside his younger brother, André Silva, a fellow professional player aged 25.

Jota and his brother were later laid to rest in their hometown, accompanied by loved ones, teammates, and fans.

As the Ugandan tribute video circulated online, many concerned folks crowded the comment area to express their condolences and offer cherished memories of the player.
