A Nigerian woman generated outrage online after uncovering her grandmother’s social studies notebook from 1974, which contained historical information concerning Lagos and the founding of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
She announced her discovery on her page using the popular social networking platform, X, formerly known as Twitter.
In her post, the lady claimed that the notebook, which belonged to her grandmother, provides insight into Lagos’ history, the formation of the FCT, and a list of military governors from the 19 states at the time.
She wrote:
“Found my grandmother’s social studies note from 1974. A lot of gems in it, including some scant history of Lagos here.”
“Some bit about the formation of FCT and military governors of 19 states.”
