A young lady has taken to social media to reveal that she declined an international scholarship because her boyfriend refused to be in a long-distance relationship.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), she explained how she made the difficult decision to turn down the opportunity after her boyfriend insisted he couldn’t handle the distance.
However, only a week later, she discovered he had cheated on her.
She wrote in frustration, “The bar is so low. I missed out on an international scholarship because he said he couldn’t travel long distances. (He cheated on me a week later). I even lied at home, claiming I didn’t receive the scholarship. ”
