A European man currently residing in Nigeria has gone viral after sharing a video in which he expressed immense satisfaction with his life in the country, challenging the negative portrayals often broadcast by Western media.
In the video, the unidentified man slammed European television networks for spreading what he described as lies and fear-mongering about Nigeria.
He claimed that, contrary to widespread perceptions, Nigeria is not only safe but also offers a higher quality of life than many places in Europe.
“All the Europe television saying that Nigeria is dangerous, don’t put your money there; I can do what I want here [in Nigeria] and I am more free here than in Europe,” he declared.
The man went on to encourage fellow Europeans to visit and experience the country firsthand, emphasising that the opportunities and lifestyle in Nigeria are widely misrepresented.
“You can also invest here and [it’s] beautiful. The food and the life here is better than in Europe; forget what the European television says, all is lie; everything is a lie,” he added.
