Popular comedian Ekene Clinton Egbuna, also known as Klintoncod, has accused Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, the founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, of abusing his flock by selling phony miraculous products.

Klintoncod described the cleric as a nuisance to Christianity in an Instagram video, claiming that if laws were strictly implemented, he would have been imprisoned or committed to a mental health center.

The comedian questioned the cleric’s credentials as a man of God, comparing him to a scammer. He added that his activities had led many individuals to lose faith.

He also criticized the crowd, calling them gullible, and questioned how they could take the preacher seriously.

Klintoncod asked, “Are we going to keep pretending that this man, Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, isn’t a nuisance to Christianity?” As I speak with you, he is most likely deceiving a large number of foolish individuals.

This guy proclaims himself a man of God, but I don’t believe he is. I don’t see a distinction between him and someone who has been imprisoned for fraud.

“This person goes about selling stuff, assuring people that if they buy anything he offers, God will perform miracles for them. Now he went and packaged sand in a nylon, sealed it, and put his face on it; now he says that if you buy this sand, God will help you build a house, and a whole lot of stupid people are visiting his church, listening to him, and when he speaks, they will stand up and call him ‘Papa’.

“Tinubu or the APC are not our problem; Nigerians are truly extremely ignorant. This individual is part of the reason why some people have quit attending church. “If this was a sane society, this guy would be in jail or a mental institution,” he stated.
