Former My Chemical Romance drummer Bob Bryar has died at the age of 44
His decomposing remains were discovered in his Tennessee home on Tuesday after animal control officers were called, and his two dogs were removed
Bryar had been last seen on November 4
The cause of death is under investigation, but foul play is not suspected, and his weapons and musical instruments were found
Bryar joined My Chemical Romance in 2004, replacing Matt Pelissier, and remained the band’s longest-serving drummer until he left in 2010
After retiring from music, he became a real estate agent
Although the band disbanded in 2013, they have reunited several times
Bryar had not been expected to perform with the band during their upcoming 10-city tour
Before My Chemical Romance, he also worked as a sound engineer for The Used
