Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes announced that she has no intention of dropping or breaking up the criminal case against those involved in attempting to overturn the state’s 2020 election results.

A grand jury indicted 18 individuals, including prominent Trump allies like Rudy Giuliani and Mark Meadows, for allegedly using fake electors to try to keep Trump in office, despite Joe Biden’s clear victory.

Despite concerns over potential retaliation from Trump’s re-election, Mayes vowed to continue the case, emphasizing the importance of holding those responsible accountable for attempting to undermine democracy.

She also dismissed attempts to intimidate her, reaffirming her commitment to upholding the Constitution.
