At least 13 people have been injured in Kyiv as the Ukrainian capital suffers unrelenting drone strikes.
According to a new book, President Donald Trump vowed to “bomb the s*** out of Moscow” if Vladimir Putin attacked Ukraine.
“I told Putin, ‘If you go into Ukraine, I’ll blow the s*** out of Moscow. “I’m telling you I have no choice,” Mr Trump says in the clip, alluding to a chat with the Russian president. “Then [Putin] says, ‘I don’t believe you.'” But he only trusted me 10 percent,” Mr Trump claimed.
The statement was one of numerous captured on audio recorders from 2024 fundraisers in New York and Florida, but it is unclear when the exchange occurred. CNN broadcast the clips on Tuesday night.
This comes as Kyiv experienced another night of unrelenting strikes from Russian drones and missiles, which injured at least 13 people, according to officials.
Meanwhile, the Trump administration has resumed delivering weaponry to Ukraine, a week after the Pentagon ordered that some deliveries be halted, according to US sources.
According to two individuals familiar with the situation, the weaponry being delivered to Ukraine include 155 mm ammunition and precision-guided rockets known as GMLRS.
