Queen Camilla has canceled her events for the week due to a chest infection.
Her doctors have advised a “short period of rest,” and she is expected to recover in time for this weekend’s Remembrance events.
Queen Camilla will miss Thursday’s Field of Remembrance opening but plans to attend the Festival of Remembrance on Saturday and the commemorative service on Sunday.
This health setback comes amid a series of health challenges within the royal family. In February, King Charles III was diagnosed with cancer, following a hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement.
After a brief break, he resumed his duties in April.
Additionally, Princess Kate Middleton recently underwent abdominal surgery, initially believed to be non-cancerous, but further testing revealed cancer.
She began chemotherapy after a period of recovery and has spoken about managing her health privately while reassuring her family.
