On Election Day, Paul Rudd the 55-year-old Marvel star known for his roles in Ant-Man and Only Murders in the Building was seen helping Philadelphia voters by handing out water bottles at Temple University’s polling location.
Rudd explained he wanted to offer support to those waiting in long lines, which were reported to be up to two hours long at nearby polling places.
He also visited Villanova University and praised the young people for their civic engagement.
Rudd’s actions come after several of his Avengers co-stars, including Robert Downey Jr, Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, and others, appeared in a video supporting Vice President Kamala Harris campaign.
The Avengers also participated in a virtual fundraiser for the Biden-Harris campaign in 2020.
Other celebrities, such as Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Christina Aguilera, and James Taylor, also showed their support for Harris leading up to Election Day.
Lady Gaga performed in Philadelphia and emphasized the importance of women’s voices in the election, while Aguilera encouraged her fans to vote for “freedom” in Las Vegas.
