Adebowale “Debo” Adedayo, also known as Mr Macaroni, a popular comedian and activist, has vowed to ignore Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at their next meeting.
Mr Macaroni previously snubbed Lagos state governor Sanwo-Olu at a public event in 2023. He had a history of ignoring the governor, and cameras caught his deliberate avoidance.
Despite his obvious reluctance, he was once forced to greet the governor.
Mr Macaroni has now explicitly stated on X that he will no longer be forced to acknowledge or interact with Governor Sanwo-Olu.
He says that when he sees the governor again, he will not greet him.
His words read:
“This is the last time I will address this matter.
It is not worth my peace of mind.
Since you people won’t stop attacking me because I didn’t greet Governor Sanwoolu, next time I see him, I still won’t greet him. And this time, even if he calls me I won’t answer.
You people will cry today, tomorrow and forever!”
