A Nigerian woman leaked a WhatsApp conversation in which she revealed how a POS agent contacted her using her account number and boldly asked her out.
She reported the incident on her page on the popular social media platform X, which was formerly known as Twitter.
In the post, she captioned it: “You went to withdraw and the POS attendant texted you through your Opay number.”
The accompanying video depicts the lady’s conversation with the POS agent, during which he explained how he obtained her contact information and expressed his romantic interest in her.
The lady appeared taken aback by his approach, but the agent persisted, encouraging her to visit his shop, noting that his boss was not present.
Part of his message read: “I’m the fine boy you came to withdraw from this morning. I like you, I want to chop your work.”
He continued: “My boss is not around, come to my shop let’s talk. I’ll buy you yoghurt. I’m in love with you, I’ll buy you fried yam.”
The agent made several other bold statements, which the lady posted online.
