Jelly Roll has been maintaining a high-protein diet and staying active with activities like walking, basketball, and boxing.

Some of his favorite healthy snacks include a banana with Manuka honey, Stevia, and dark chocolate shavings, along with a healthier version of Nashville hot chicken.

In a candid conversation on Jay Shetty’s “On Purpose” podcast, Jelly Roll opened up about his lifelong struggle with food addiction, likening it to his past battles with substance abuse.

Acknowledging the mental health aspects of his weight, Jelly Roll has been working on changing his relationship with food, keeping it out of his green room during shows to avoid temptation.

He admitted that his weight-loss journey is not about reaching a specific goal but rather finding the “will to live” and prioritizing his overall happiness.

Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie Xo, has also been supportive, revealing that the artist temporarily stepped away from social media due to hurtful comments about his weight.

Despite the bullying, Jelly Roll remains focused on his health, emphasizing that weight is often tied to mental health, and he’s determined to keep moving forward for his well-being.
